Hanga-Aro-Rau is conducting a comprehensive review of the Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMRs) documents related to our sectors. We seek your feedback to ensure these documents are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards. We want to make sure that learners are coming out with the right skills and expertise to meet the needs of industry, and these CMRs will help to ensure that happens.

Your expertise and insights into the industry-specific requirements that align with teaching, training, and assessment practices are invaluable as we review these documents:

• Consent and Moderation Requirements 0014, 0145, 0079, 0092
• Consent and Moderation Requirements 0013, 0111, 0030

We are aware that certain sectors may have unique compliance and currency requirements. These will be included as appendices in the new CMR documents. We will seek your consultation on these specific sectors at a later date, ensuring your insights are thoroughly incorporated into the review process.

Programme Endorsements

In collaboration with NZQA, we are pleased to advise you that some of the simpler changes to programmes now fall under a Type One endorsement, whereas previously, they were considered a Type Two and required endorsement.
