Our Lumana’i o Tangata Moana Pacific People’s Workforce Development Plan was launched at Parliament on 24 September 2024. The plan outlines a vision for a “stronger Pacific workforce with better opportunities now and in the future,” focusing on workforce development for Pacific workers across manufacturing, engineering, and logistics. It was developed in partnership with Pacific communities and industry.
It provides guidance on how to strengthen participation, grow capability and support culturally informed practice. We invite industry and community partners to view the plan and take inspiration from its guidance to support Pacific workforce development.
