Morgan Toki (Ngāpuhi, Ngātiwai, Ngāti Hine) has been with Hanga-Aro-Rau since its inception in October 2021, bringing her relationship-building skills and considerable experience in vocational education to her role of Māori Relationship Lead.

Morgan came to Hanga-Aro-Rau from the BCITO (Building Construction Industry Training Organisation), where she was a regional workforce development facilitator. This busy and diverse role saw Morgan work across multiple forums to bring together employers, agencies, and communities, working to support people into employment and support the capability of employers. This experience and skill set, along with an in-depth understanding of the vocational education system and a strong network of industry and education providers built up over a number of years, make Morgan an asset to the Māori Workforce Development tīma.

Outside of work, Morgan is passionate about her whānau and friends, spending as much time with them as she can. She also enjoys participating in a range of sporting activities and likes to keep busy.
