Matt Gough is the Industry Manager for engineering. He has spent many years in relationship management and business development/sales roles (in the health sector and also in engineering recruitment), and also spent a stint as General Manager of Younited (the Student Association at EIT). This latter role gave him invaluable experience in working with providers within vocational education, and also in leading a team of individuals with varied skills and diverse backgrounds.

Matt also plays the viola (having previously played at a semi-professional level), and currently plays in a string quartet, the Hawkes Bay Orchestra and in a number of groups in both Auckland and Hamilton (when time permits!).
