Mat is the Industry Relationship Manager for Hanga-Aro-Rau and is responsible for leading the Industry Relationship team. Mat has held various positions in vocational education for over a decade, in roles from developing qualifications and unit standards through to stakeholder management. Mat is passionate about how the vocational education system has a positive impact on individuals, families and communities.

In his spare time Mat loves outdoor activities, which his home base in Rotorua has plenty of, and relaxing with his family and friends.
