With experience working alongside industry to develop and set unit standards, Kieran has been with Hanga-Aro-Rau since its inception in October 2021.  Kieran has a background in economics and has worked in several roles in manufacturing-focused industry associations. The combination of his background and experience led Kieran to a role as lead researcher on the Skills Shift in Manufacturing Project that reported to the Future of Work Commission. This mahi involved investigating how skill requirements for the manufacturing industry were changing, giving him the ideal skills and insights to bring with him to Hanga-Aro-Rau.

Kieran lives in Tāmaki Makaurau and is passionate about playing and recording music in his spare time.
