Ina is a Pacific descendant from Samoa and resides in Wellington. She has a background in education, career pathways, mentorship, translation, and communication. She is a firm believer in building and increasing in-school Pacific communities. She has previously held senior roles in government and private sectors, with experiences in Policy and Education; curriculum design and implementation for Māori, with relationships to iwi/hapū and whānau. She has been a Pacific representative on school Boards and understands the importance of Pacific voice and leadership to inspire success for Pacific.

Ina enjoys spending time with her young family which consists of her baby and fiancé. Along with their hyperactive dog, they like walking mountains, going to the park, and visiting family.
