Industry leaders in the Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing sector – we need your expertise!

Through our Qualification Advisory Group (QAG), made up of industry subject matter experts and provider representatives, we’ve been reviewing the New Zealand Certificate in Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing (Level 3).  

Industry has advised that the qualification is necessary to support Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing sectors.  

We are proposing the following update of the New Zealand Certificate in Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing (Level 3) qualification, and we want to know what you think. 

 The aim of this qualification is to provide the Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing industries with a product that will ensure a bespoke career pathway is available for those already established or new to the industry. 

We are now seeking feedback and interest from industry and stakeholders to ensure the qualification will meet the needs of the Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing workforces, and we welcome experts to share their thoughts.  Because what matters to industry, matters to us!

The Hanga-Aro-Rau Meat and Meat Product Manufacturing Advisory Group will consider and incorporate all relevant feedback into the qualification before making the NZQA submission.
