The Industry Standards tīma at Hanga-Aro-Rau have been hard at work developing the process for the upcoming competitive systems and practices qualifications and unit standards review.

Competitive Systems and Practices (CSP) covers skillsets and methodologies that are used across industry (commonly in manufacturing) to continually improve productivity, and includes topics such as Lean, Just in Time, 5S and Agile.

This review will look at three qualifications which include approximately 62 unit standards. These are set by Innovation Business Skills Australia (IBSA) and were reviewed in 2022. The Hanga-Aro-Rau process will ensure the updated standards are fit for purpose for the Aotearoa context.

This review requires a strong industry voice to ensure these qualifications meet the current and future needs of the industries we serve.

1. Directly involved in the review by being part of the Technical Advisory/Working Group. Please note that you must be prepared and committed to contributing directly to the review.

3.  You provide feedback via email only.
