Sector Advisory Groups (also known as SAGs) are formed to promote a specific sector and provide advice on their training and workforce development needs.
Where necessary, members of a Sector Advisory Group will make up a Qualification Advisory Group.
However, not all sectors have qualifications or will come together specifically to discuss qualifications – hence the need to define this group outside of Technical Advisory Groups and Qualification Advisory Groups.
