With more than 20 years’ experience in the careers industry, Astrid has worked across a variety of roles. During her time as a career practitioner with Careers NZ, she worked with individual clients, delivered professional development to school careers teams and implemented career strategy. She has been in leadership roles in the Career Development Association of NZ (CDANZ) and a long-time member of the Association for Career and Transition Educators (CATE). Astrid is passionate about professional development within organisations as a way of building our workforce and is motivated by a belief that all people should have the opportunity to reach their potential, however that manifests.

In her spare time, she can often be found working in the garden, spending time with family or heading out with friends on great local walks around Whangarei.
